We are excited about the future opening of Pico da Neblina in the coming months.  The Park has been closed off for approximately 15 years . Pico da Neblina is also part of the Yanomami territory and requires a special permit to be visited.

Pico da Neblina National Park is located in the north section of Brazil, bordering Venezuela. The Brazilian national park was created in 1979, and it is one of the country's largest national parks, with 22,200 km2 (8,600 sq mi).

Pico da Neblina is one of the country's highest mountains, with an elevation at 9,823 ft. It is covered by dense or open Amazon Rainforest.  Pico da Neblina National Park is located in one of the wettest areas of the Amazon, with an annual precipitation of 160 inches.

We anticipate this being a 11-15 day trek.
